Jio Financial Services has fixed Monday, 10 August 2026 as the record date for its Rs 0.60 per share final dividend for FY26. The Third Annual General Meeting (Post Listing) is scheduled for 26 August 2026, and if shareholders approve, the dividend will be paid within seven days of the meeting.

The record date and what it locks in

The record date is the cut-off used to decide who is on the register that day. If your name is on the register on 10 August 2026, you are eligible for the FY26 dividend. Buy JIOFIN after the ex-date and settle after the record date, and the seller keeps the payout.

The AGM notice, filed with BSE and NSE, also fixes 19 August 2026 as the cut-off date for voting on the resolutions. The meeting will run through video conferencing and other audio-visual means at 2:00 p.m. IST on 26 August 2026, in line with SEBI and MCA circulars.

Rs 0.60 per share, and what it means in context

The Rs 0.60 per share final dividend was recommended by the JFSL board on 17 April 2026, on a face value of Rs 10, which is a 6% dividend rate. On JIOFIN’s closing price of about Rs 256 on 31 July 2026, that translates to a small headline yield.

What makes it a story is history. This is only the second dividend JFSL has declared since it listed on 21 August 2023, after being demerged from Reliance Industries. The first was Rs 0.50 per share for FY25. Two dividends in three years fits the broader trend of large payouts making news, as with the HPCL FY26 dividend, the Cipla FY26 dividend and the Voltas payout.

Why is this only the second Jio Financial dividend?

The answer sits in the balance sheet. JFSL is a Core Investment Company registered with the RBI, and it is spending on a wide build-out: Jio Finance for lending, Jio Insurance Broking, Jio Payment Solutions, Jio Payments Bank and the Jio BlackRock asset management JV.

Some bets are already at scale. FY26 disclosures show Jio BlackRock at over Rs 15,200 crore AUM within nine months of launch, Jio Payment Solutions processing over Rs 52,200 crore in transaction volume, and the Allianz reinsurance JV cleared in March 2026. The FY26 numbers behind the payout

For FY26, consolidated net profit was Rs 1,561 crore against Rs 1,613 crore in FY25, down 3.2%. Consolidated revenue from operations jumped 72% year-on-year to Rs 3,513 crore, as the build-out reached the top line.

The March quarter was the harder read. Q4 FY26 consolidated PAT fell 13.88% year-on-year to Rs 272 crore, while total income nearly doubled to Rs 1,020 crore. Rising expenses on the build-out and higher finance costs squeezed the bottom line. In an exchange filing, the board also accepted the resignation of Group CFO Abhishek Haridas Pathak effective 20 April 2026, and appointed Annapoorna Venkataramanan as Group CFO effective 11 May 2026.

Consolidated net worth stood near Rs 1.33 lakh crore, total assets around Rs 1.63 lakh crore. That scale is why even a small dividend is a real cash outflow. JIOFIN is a Nifty 50 constituent, and its dates get watched alongside the wider Sensex and Nifty tape.
